I was hoping that an idiot like you would understand that what works for INT based enfeebling spells (bind,gravity,sleep,poison) also works for MND enffeebling spells (slow,silence). I guess I put my hopes a little up. The relation int-mac is probably the same as mnd-mac for mnd spells, and there is no reason to doubt it.

Not trying to be an asshole or anything, but I was under the impression that MND did nothing for Silence, and one was better off just stacking skill/macc gear in hopes of landing it. Confirm/deny?

Pchan, I would really like to give you some prop's on focusing on an unknown and doing some things to try and figure it out, but you just come across as an ass hole.
It's not like you have these little shit storms with 2-3 of the same people, it's everywhere you post BG, Alla, etc.)
I don't know you from adam, but everytime you try to correct someone, or help the player base to understand FFXI's mechanics, you do it in such a way that most people would rather smack you in the fucking face with a running chain saw, than listen to your advice.
The worst part is you instantly respond with, "whatever, your gimp, i don't care" but clearly they maybe gimp, but you do fucking care. You care alot. or else you wouldn't be continuing to portray yourself as this superior player, who is here to figure out the best gear for X situation on Y job.
If mathing up FFXI is what makes you happy that's fine, More power too you. But when someone asks for clarification on some info you've provided don't instantly go on the defensive. If you don't have what their asking for, either say so, or provide it. If it's not within your means to provide, let them know that. Nobody accepts anything at face value now adays, it's the nature of society to quetion everything, and as many bases as your methods can cover, not a single person on this planet can cover them all.

At this point i understand your often on the defensive from the begining because, well, you get blasted whenever you post something for the most part, but the only way that's ever going to stop/change is if you can let it slide off you, instead of hitting you full force in your face.

Khimara, Cerberus, Tiamat, Jormy, Vrtra, and the new Fomor Kings. I imagine it would be awful similar. And assume you have all gear.

It's not the first time that you try to contest my tests, and I don't care. On PUP/RDM or BLM/RNG my recast was about 40 sec. This allows you do to 500-1000 binds in one night assuming you don't get d/c. Also the numbers are far from being perfect, the test on hit rate < 50% shows a little inconsistance when INT=81, I find 14% for what should be 13%.

That just makes it sound more implausible. If you did (lets say) 750 a night, then that's 60 days to compile this dataset.

That's what Kaeko is suggesting, but neither him nor Pchan have made a case for either. Kaeko simply pointed out the extremity to which you would need to go to conduct such a test manually. Pchan is saying he's insane enough to do it all night (inc Jokes). We haven't actually seen any figures on how many days he took to test this, so it could have been over several days even though we're seeing the data compiled instantly.

Exactly. I thought it was pretty clear he was saying he botted it there. Dcing obviously isn't a big deal if you're actually there to log back in.

The reason for this is that Cerb + Khim (and others) build up resistance to certain enfeebles. Landing the first slow/elegy/para is not as bad as trying to do it halfway through the fight. It's sort of like the stun resist that Baha or Khim build up, or like the grav resistance many NMs build up (and then slowly fade.)

It's definitely not a trait resist as you'd see the Resist! message, and it would be independent of mg acc/mg eva.

I do find pchan's tests interesting, although as pointed out, the method of procurement warrants further explanation. I've never seen pchan falsify data, so ima go /w the innocent until proven guilty thing here, but I would like to hear from him how the data was obtained. Also as Failure tested, it's possible the INT rating on the dolphins might be off?
