I have a real problem with p2p and cash stores. Wow's little "pet shop" annoys me to hell, but at least its nothing game breaking and its something "long lasting and substantial". Aion's cash store is selling consumable crap. Consumable stores belong in f2p games like DDO, Allod's and the like. Hell at least DDO's store sells actual content.

That being said, I would have paid 3$ for 10 special dyes back in December. Its almost March, no new content equals I just do not care enough to put the type of time in that would warrant even 3$.

Oh and too all those people who are using these "pretty new wings"... wth... 40$ for wings? Really come on now...

I would like dye, but even the one-issue fee is kinda silly... they're selling future issues on the conceit of "special items with each issue," which could mean "lodas amulets and res stones for issues 2-6! line up now kids!" as easily as special costume stuff or wings or whatnot. They just haven't shown that they know how to reward players for in-game effort, nevermind for EXTRA money paid.

Spending that type of money for lolwings is pathetic, ESPECIALLY when a most ppl are expecting the 6 months wings in less than a months time. Spend like 15$ to buy kinah and get the lv 40 wings that look 10x better if your that desperate for new wings. If i could get full miragents though Ill admit id spend 4$ to get white dye.

You did not play on Bahamut, so you didn't meet Avvesione. He msged me for a long time after I quit FFXI asking me if I missed my cute little ears and cute little tail. Eh, there will always be people with more money than sense. I've thought about it, honestly. I just don't think anything there is worth it. If I -really- wanted some dye I might buy a single issue once I have some gear worth dyeing for, but even then I'm going to hold out for vet rewards including dye packages. Not like they're likely to think of anything interesting to put in them, right?
