I'm not sure if you're a girl or a guy... Or weather or not you're using them on yourself or someone else.... But anything that has metal in it; regardless of weather it's covered with something soft or not; is very uncomfortable on your wrists. Soft cuffs may give more movements, but trust me... if its for a girl... GET THOSE INSTEAD! You couldn't imagine how difficult it would be to explain how red markings got on your wrists to coworkers.. the angles cant be explained away by "an allergic reaction to some bracelets" very often!

Unless you're going for hardcore restraint(fighting for fun, etc) you can use a scarf or something similar that will be a lot more comfortable. If it's just the idea of handcuffs that'll get you off then do what others send and go with some lined with soft material...They aren't hard to find.

I second sub shop.

I've got a lot of toys from there too, it's pretty exciting stuff, well made. But two warnings:

1. Don't freak out your partner, sub shop stuff is pretty hardcore. My toys now reside in a sealed box with an unknown future.
2. It's not cheap, even with sale prices, the shipping is hugely expensive.
