We ganna havta pay 20 dollars each for 4 total expansions downloadable via Playonline viewer, each expansion will be 30 quests long, all quests similar to gay farming acp like missions, after each completion you unlock one new avatar. i can see it now.

1/4th of a New Avatar. You will have to collect 4 items from the end of all 4 Expansions, and the expansions have no other reward except that 1 item for the Avatar.

After collection all 4 you have to go into a sub job-less fight against the avatar, and if you fail you must do all 30 quests again from all 4 expansions cause you lose the key items.

Uh, I must be missing something, but where is there mention of new avatars? Or am I being whooshed? If so, I accept it.

Why? New expansion = new content. Sure WOTG was not finished after all this time but look at what it brought. A lot of "new" areas, east ronfaure s for amazing exp low level. Campaign which almost everyone does, new NM's, very good storyline imo and it goes on. It isn't even finished yet, imagine a new expansion it will keep people playing and occupied for a long time.

Actually, along these lines, they could annouce they're going to finish up WoTG, and add an 'end expansion' type area, similar to Sky/Sea/Einherjar.

Yes, I imagine the next update will finally open up Walk of Echoes. It'd certainly be a shame to waste that zone.

They could do that, and most likely will announce the end of WOTG. I really feel that a new full blown expansion will revive this game imo.

I agree, the last 3 mini-expansions seem a little "stop-gap"... Roll on something new and shiny!
