Andy (John Morris) is heading off to college, and his toys, including Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen), are worried about their uncertain future. After some twists and turns, the toys end up at Sunnyside Daycare Center. There, they befriend such toys such as Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear (Ned Beatty), a porcupine doll named Mr. Pricklepants (Timothy Dalton), and a smooth-talking Ken doll (Michael Keaton). (It also has been revealed that Barbie is in love with Ken.) Despite Woody's insistance that they must return to Andy, the other toys are keen to start a new life at the daycare. However following mis-treatment at the hands of the children, it isn't long before they discover that Andy is actively searching for them, so they decide to escape, and the toys soon discover that some of their new friends aren't as friendly as they appear. To make matters further complicated, Buzz is damaged during an escape attempt. The toys reset Buzz, which makes him revert to a delusional Spanish version of his old self, much to the other toys' discomfort and Jessie's amazement.[2][3]

Andy goes to college and donates the toys to a place

From the commercials, Andy is going to college, his toys get donated to a daycare, but then Andy is looking for Woody to take him to college, so they toys decide they need to get Woody back to him (one of Mrs. Potato Head's eyes get left behind so she sees it). Not sure what's going to happen to the other toys though, but it's a Pixar film, so I have high hopes.

Walmart is going all-out with this movie. There's hooded towels, clothes, every game or toy you've ever played with reinvented for Toy Story. They also got Toy Story popcorn holders and Toy Story gummies with flavored characters (Rex/Pig/the Aliens/etc or Toy Soldiers). I'm so pumped for Toy Story 3, if some little rat who wasn't even alive when 1 and 2 came out buys the last ticket Friday I'm going to choke him out and dumb his body on the train tracks.

Predicting Andy keeps the Toy's, grows up and hands them down to his kids. Really looking forward to this. Made plans with some of my childhood friends that I haven't talked to in years. We are going to get together and see these. They were our first 'date' movies. We went on dates as a group to see the originals.

Yes and do it, the bluray/dvd combo packs disney does kick ass and the movies look awesome.
