Technically, no, women cannot be placed in any combat roles. There's a shitton of debates that I'm not going to go into about it, but they still can, and have seen as much combat as some men.

Pretty sure it would be abused to fuck to get military benefits. Women would join the military and get pregnant so that they didn't have to actually fight while still getting paid. And it's either deploy them anyway or don't allow women to be deployed...so yeah.

Maybe I am wrong but does this kind of thing not happen? Few months back(weeks?) there was something posted about a woman who got pregnant to get the hell out of the war. She was deployed and everything I think.

The choices are not pay them to do nothing or deploy them. Becoming a single parent is not the same thing as catching a cold. Except for the the case of death, people do not become single parents through no fault of their own. I'd prefer someone with more knowledge of the makeup of our armed forces answered this question, but would it be entirely impossible to find positions stateside for single parents of either gender or just discharge them if no position is available and refuse to allow single parents to enlist.

"Don't allow women to be deployed" Are men incapable of being single parents? I never said anything about women specifically.

my first year in the navy going through school i remember 6 girls getting pregs and going to the chap everyday until they got out. claiming to be scared for your unborn child's future and crying gets you alot
