Percentages of shots by whoever is curling at the time, draws are shots into the house, takeouts are take out shots. Motohashi has some pretty high marks right now, but Japanese are pretty good at take out games.

Yeah I was looking at overall living cost. Still seems strange when compared to a place like Tokyo, but then again a lot of people who are in Tokyo live in Dasaitama (Saitama) and Chiba etc.

Is it geography? I used to live in Boulder and property cost will basically go up guaranteed because of a no building (literally no new building and limits on building up). Just seems for Canada's population the last thing they are lacking is space.

Sorry I wasn't around to see your response. It is to some degree the lack of land. The only places that can expand are the outer cities that make up Greater Vancouver, but even they are hemmed in by farmland and eventually mountains. The price of living is also up right now because we've just gone through a major speculator phase where people were just snapping up realty in the hopes of selling it off for a profit.

The speculation has slowed but there is still high demand to live here. So prices won't be going down any time soon unless there is a mass exodus from the city.
