The same origin story we've been told except as a teen he saves a bus full of people preventing them from drowning and he gets found out and decides to go into hiding so people can't find him. He goes off and plays "Deadliest Catch" for a while and then Zod and his peeps come from I'm guessing the Phantom Zone looking to take over. Clark goes to the FoS to learn about his identity, becomes Supes, but the military thinks that he is part of Zod's crew so they arrest him and he has to prove to everyone that he's on the side of good while dealing with Zod

From the rumors/theories I've read so far it's going to go a little something like this... Children on Krypton are engineered for a specific purpose in life. Kal was born naturally, thus illegal in their society. With what we've seen in the teasers/trailers, this sounds very likely.

That one scene looks like Zod right before being locked up, you can see handcuffs or something. So Jor-el locks him up, Zod swears to find Kal and kill him.
