Rather glowing review out at Hitflix. ._. I'm terribly excited, seems that it is as good as I have been hoping.
Standard spoiler alert applies.
So hyped for this.
The Daily Beast ripped this movie a new asshole. Now I have second thoughts about this. If you want to read the article, it's here http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...alls-flat.html, but be warned, it contains plot spoilers.
I've read a ton of reviews that were glowing/positive, and generally the bad reviews are trying too hard to compare it to the old Reeves' movies.
I hate the Reeves movies so I'm glad they strayed away from that and I'm not gonna miss Kal pretending to be Clark Kent.
67 on RT...not sure if I should bother Thursday night. Could cancel Amazon order and pick up The Last of Us@midnight instead
Who the hell cares what other people think? If you want to watch it, watch it. I've liked movies that RT hated and I've hated movies RT liked.
RT is generally accurate enough to help me make that decision. A 67 isn't even mediocre, it's borderline bad
I read a review of Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing in the Daily Mail this week which mentioned that certain big budget action films this summer would turn out to be flops. That made me overly cautious to watch Superman before reviews came out, so I'm going to wait this time. If it gets 3 or more stars in the Mail I'll probably watch it, anything less and I'll wait for the DVD.
you are pathetic. form your own opinions.
Opening weekend for Man of Steel will be perfect for watching other flicks.
I'm still a bit afraid it'll disappoint me, so I'm sure I'll catch it (and avoid this thread until then) the following week.
A 67 is actually decent. And unless a movie gets extreme results (90+ or <20) I don't really bother with RT ratings. If I want to see it, I want to see it. This still looks awesome.
Already walking into this movie expecting the worst since Superman is well... Superman but I'm willing to be surprised the same way I was by Batman Begins.
So basically if the majority of people like/hate it, you will too? There are a lot of Roger Moore Bond movies that rank mediocre there that are actually fairly decent.
I'm skeptical of this movie, sure. I'm not going to "not" watch it just because "67% of people like it".
I trust BG reviews.
