Some of this is speculation - and it's just a sampling - but here's where you can find them and what I know of where they went.

Hellboy: xbox live, played wow a bit but not with us
Twentytwo: pro poker player in chicago, quit mmo's for now
Ganbachi: was part of the leadership of a controversial UAE LS after we left FF
Bikwin: plays WoW with BG for about half of every expansion, professional IT dude in texas
Lito: Starbucks (Twin rage quit the joint) - xbox live
Almaa: web dev, maybe plays ffxi some?
Deus: no idea
Quicklet: physics-obsessed in college and sparse ffxi/wow revisitations(?)
Blazer: active in ffxi for a while after we left, quit eventually I think. became a teacher.
Mitzki: doing the same thing he was doing before, just in different games
Ryoske: has some job doing something
Ondori: runs part of his pops' company and plays consoles
Imperatrix: hangs out with BG in WoW, married to some guy we never knew

Our generation's BG is an intangible energy that might rematerialize for FFXIV, but basically the good friends still keep close in touch. To hear the whole story you'd have to join our next MMO or game and build at least a week of playtime.

Mitzki was an asshole, He might have been an okay guy sometimes but the dude let his balls talk more than his head. I am glad most of us from that that generation moved on to bigger and better things.

Like you said most of us have probably finished shcool, have wives ... houses and everything you can't have while having a hardcore gaming life. I just think its normal that we've all changed and it's great like that =) I (we) didn't come back to get the mmorpg life all again, but to see how these people growth.

A lot of people will probably want to fight/kill Maat first and acquire loots and all that shit. My dream is to see the guild in 14 begin with a glorious reunion of everyone who made it happen, continue as an open-ended come-and-go sort of social space whose larger-than-is-practical-for-being-#1 size will reflect 7 years of legendary passers-by, and hopefully end like it did before with TrueFriends (get it) sticking together despite it ending. So you should play. My rule - might be doing law - is to allow movement in the FFXIV world only on odd numbered weekend days during the last half of every month for an hour total. I'm going to be a gimp.

From the way you guys refer to Mitzki he seemed to be a lot more immature before, but nowadays he's a good guy. He plays WoW and is part of a guild that Judah is running.

BG WoW hardly has any old school BG members, infact it's definitely a lot less FFXI than it was before since people have moved onto different things. It still has a bunch of different FFXI players from different servers though.
