    The ones on the side highlight different lines to give you opposite points of reference. The shadow is exactly the same, but the points of reference differ so it appears to be going the opposite direction.

    Look from the one on the left to the one in the middle til the leg crosses the body, then look at the one on the right and back, you can make it switch back and forth smoothly that way.
