darkfall is a sandbox game, which means there are no levels and all you do is level up skills. They tried to reflect reality as best as they could and much like reality if you want to survive in a world where anyone can kill anyone, you have to join in a clan. The biggest clans war constantly and take eachothers towns. It is an awesome concept and they do need to work on things a bit; however, this is the perfect niche game for ultra pvpers. Fucking kill them and take all their loot. Take over a city, access the vault, take all their shit.

don't know why people are still going on with this. wow has a 'cartoonish' type look, that's it. all spells in the game were upgraded with shiny new looks when wrath came out, or a little after(dunno, wasn't playing back then). play the game on ultra, there is a shadow for every structure and npc. textures are upgraded, and armor looks to be 'unstyled/recycled' compared to things like morrigan's robe, but that's only because you are upgrading your armor quite consistently. even so, armor doesn't look bad in any way in terms of detailed.

the only thing ffxi has going for it in terms of graphics is the end game armor looks quite detailed and burst2.

assuming ofc you were referring to wow vs ffxi graphics. there are a lot of games that are better looking than wow.

i was referring to player textures mainly, but most of the environmental textures don't look 'shit'. 90% of the spells in the game got totally redesigned as well.
