    Just asking hehe.
I'm not gonna lie, best deal for shoes I ever got was a pair of leather oxfords I bought at Macy's for like 80 bucks. They've lasted forever and are mad comfortable still.

However, majority of the time... this is not the case. Ever spent the entire day walking around in an average pair of dress shoes? Not fun. I have a pair of Johnston and Murphys that I bought when my job required formal business dress a few years ago. Cost me a few bucks, but damn were they worth it. Long days spent mostly on my feet and they were like wearing slippers at home. Also, I wore the crap out of them and they still look fantastic.

I love my Uggs, lol. I can't wear them enough. When I go to class it's so nice to basically feel like your wearing your foot wrapped in cotton, but better, because it's fur, haha. Sounds inhumane but no killing involved, not that I know of anyways. >_>

I know most people see them as ugly, but I think they go very well with most outifts. I have had the same pair for about 3 years now, and they still look as new as they did the day I got them. Granted that's with a $15 bottle of cleaner I bought 3 years ago, which I still have some left.

Entirely worth the price tag if you get good use out of them.

Sanoske / Klutz : That anwser will apply to you two, as I said I can understand that because I work in construction and I wear boots 12hours a day 6 days a week so I need to be confortable. I think the same should apply to shoes. But I was refering to the apparences, I paid 450$ for a scarf hehe but will never go over 200 for shoes. Black leather ones medium quality I think thats well enough, no ? I mean its all under yourself, you're walking on it ... beside the fact they need to be confortable I don't see the point to go further since this is not something you really see on someone.

Well to be quite honest when I go out on a date, slash am checking a guy out, I always look at either their hair, or their shoes first, lol. I hate to point fingers at stereotypes, but you can usually tell what "clique" a guy puts themselves into by what shoes they wear. It can be deceiving sometimes, but usually it's spot on. Sandals on a guy are fucking hot.

Haha cool at least I'm okay with that point. Usually sandals aren't a good point, I try to use that california style with a 'chocobo hair style' while wearing those. Girls in québec dont really like them. =(

You paid 450 for a scarf that most likely looks exactly like a dozen scarves that cost 1/10th as much... but over 200 for shoes is too much?

Something about that is very backwards. lol I definitely notice what people wear on their feet, a bad pair of shoes or boots can totally throw off an otherwise nice outfit.

It's really all above personal value in the end, all fashion is. If I had a job that made me bank I would drop money on high quality stuff in a heartbeat, but I enjoy fashion much more than the average guy... so to me it would be worth it. Although I'm a broke ass college student so right now it's a pretty moot point.

Burberry scarves are around $300. And over the holidays Macy's had a whole table of Burberry-esque scarves for ~$75. If you know Burberry or fashion you could tell the difference, but most people wouldn't have known.

I am curious to know what scarf cost $450 though...

EDIT: Really? Huh. And no it's not bad at all, I would love to get a Burberry scarf if I had the extra cash/

I personally love the Burberry check style. Even when I wear a polo with the check hidden on the trim, people notice almost immediately. It's hard to mistake it for anything else.

hehe well its 450 canadian with taxes etc. I took the biggest one also -_- and the 100% cashmere. But I stopped buying expensive stuff because people judge you, I want to keep it low profile a little bit more. Thats a reason why I'm asking that question about shoes ... people want to look wealthy and they mostly aren't, but as I said ... for the confortable point I'm 100% with you.

That and I look 20 years old and people think its my parent money -_-

Greetings. I am Boot-imus Prime, the 'grey-t' leader of the Auto-boots, arch nemesis of the Decepti-clogs. I am here on Earth to make your footwear more fashionable, while the Decepti-clogs lead the anti-cute shoe movement. You may not recognize me tomorrow, thanks to my transformative quality. You see, I possess two silver-buckled straps - one at my ankle and one at my split-top. The upper strap can be used to morph my shaft into different looks - either a wide, folded cuff, or a tall, knee high form. My on-trend rounded toe and chunky, walkable heel will ensure that you are as comfortable as you are cute. I work well with the other members of my chic squad, including Bumble-tee, Iron-skirt, and Ratch-tights. Together, we will defend your stellar style.

    lolBurberry scarfs are so 2001

And for $450+? I've just handpicked a few from my collection (gotta rush to work)

    From left to right:

Louis Vuitton Cashmere mono scarf - $500
Gucci Mink fur scarf - over $2000
Louis Vuitton Reykjavik Scarf $730 current season on http://www.louisvuitton.com/web/flas...ue=en_US&buy=1
Louis Vuitton monogram lurex (I use this to tie a triangle thingy round my neck) $535 http://www.louisvuitton.com/web/flas...ue=en_US&buy=1
Prada class red fox fur $1800

If I dig out my scarf's collection which includes Hermes (all stored in boxes), most of them are over $500.
So, yea Sanoske, I'm not impressed with Burberry at all, too common. I used to have quite a few Burberry cashmere and also lolwool in different colours, but they have all gone to charity shop now!
    Late for work!
Actually toying with the idea of getting a Jitrois's Empress Chincilla scarf which P'Diddy uses...but it's freaking $6000 lol
