It's funny how much these "men's bags" look like purses my great-grandmother used(minus the floral pattern).

So I asked a few women at work here about that black "mens" bag. First thing she said was "cute outfit, but why is he carrying his girlfriends bag?" another said "sorry, that's a womens purse" etc. you get the idea. Sorry dude that's not refined taste, that's faggo taste.
I'm not sure which is funnier, the fact he wears a purse and looks down on poor people, or the fact that he uses IE.
Do they have a 6 figure salary that doesn't start with a 1 or 2? Do they go to couture shows in London, Paris or Milan?
Sorry dude. Low status is low.
What kind of dumb bitches you have been asking I wonder.
All my highflyer banker female friends or millionaire mums can smell a cheap dud a mile away.
Listen dude, you can tell yourself that people don't get it because they don't make enough money or whatever all day long, but at the end of the day when people see you walking down the street with a bag like that, they aren't impressed with how much you had to spend on it, they're wondering why you'd pay so much money to look gay.
High fashion is niche, even in the high 6 and 7 figure salaries. I don't think income is simply the qualifier.
Like I said, it is my money, why should they even care.
I don't go telling my friend she is dumb to waste money on buying the first class seat on an airplane next to her coz she doesn't want to crease her Dior gown.
Pretty sure Bill Gates and Warren Buffett don't carry a purse. They must be poor.
All I'm saying, it's not just income, it's income + a niche demograph that would, in essence, "get" the man purse. If I made $750k a year, I wouldn't wear a purse. Then again, I wouldn't buy a car that was over $35,000 either, just because I'm entirely too conservative.
Considering you can't drive a $250,000 car at a speed which would make it fun legally, so yeah I would agree with your price range, maybe push it up to like 70k or so but you can definitely get a car for 35k thats as fun to drive at road speeds + one thats probably 10 times as reliable as something you would pay 10times that for.
haute couture is the embodiment of fascism
there, I said it.

Just for fun I asked the owner of the company I work for about how he felt about your man purse.
Now just for some background, he is the sole owner of the largest privately owned low voltage cable manufacturer in the United States, Director of Community Bank of Orange (local branch of banks), and owns over 6 million in rental properties. I think he fits your $300,000+ monetary stipulation.
The question I asked:
"What's your opinion on this bag?"
He said, "If you ever see me with something like that, drag me into the street and shoot me."
Tyche hit it on the head. It's a very niche market, especially for shit like men's handbags and $1,000 scarves.
I was fine with everything until you automatically assumed everyone who didn't approve of your style "poor".
Spending is relative. I have about 16 grand invested in my fishtank. Would I spend that same 16 grand on scarves...... fuck no. Would you spend 16 grand on a fishtank..... I would think not.
I love how wopa is identical irl to how he was in the game. Also tyche is the word of reason within this thread, but it might be because he is a dad from kentucky and has his priorities straight instead of trying to fit in and appease the people that flaunt their money.
I really hope for Wops sake he doesn't actually believe the crap he's saying, and this is a humongous whoosh. Shitty taste is shitty no matter how much you spend on the crap you buy. As much as I love to spend money on expensive clothes, I know when something is fucking terrible. Simple, classic fashion are the only things I'll drop good money on, stuff I know won't go out of style. The "you must be poor, because you don't waste your money" is also the douchiest thing I've heard in a long.... long time, and can't believe people actually feel this way.
he has money, and he uses it on clothes (which he obviously devotes a good deal of his time/mental energy to).
i really don't see how anyone can honestly insert their own preference as a justification to why his hobby is wrong. i'm damn sure there is something in your life that you do, love doing, or love having that could be made easier or more abundant with a higher degree of financial freedom. while i probably wouldnt ever really be inclined to spend THAT much on clothes (not my taste or comfort zone), i'm pretty sure i'd be spending the same amounts on guitars and musical equipment in the same situation.
y'all are teetering on the hater line. just sayin.
I think it was the arrogant "This is why I don't socialize with poor people" line that got people pissed off.
im sorry if i offend any of you true gays on BG but i have to say this
god damn wop, you are a complete faggot.
as for the money thing you could be doing constructive things with it, instead of trying to look like a female.
also, i know plenty about high fashion and im dumbfounded that you can even enjoy hermes bags with the price tag on those. i'd feel like a fucking piece of shit if i purchased a handbag for that much. (though i wouldnt buy one, because guys dont carry around faggot handbags)
