the way i see it, its the same as any other hobby, except women like fashion a lot more than men because, well, women are usually more concerned with how they and other women look than men are.

some people know a fuckton about math, or guitars, or cars, or taxes, etc, wop knows shit about fashion. for me, its always valuable to have a clothing reference, especially clothing levels above middle class (in terms of pricing & availability). if you want to be with the big dogs, you have to be a big dog.

Really? I've always found Aldo to be pretty crappy quality. The few pairs of shoes I've purchased from there fall apart in a few months with light wearing. Especially considering the price (not high, but still a bit).

Well, I mostly rock the loafers for work and such. I also have 3 pairs that i use pretty evenly so maybe they were down a bit slower that way. But i would say they have just about as long of a work shoe life as any others i've bought and they are more stylish usually.
