Augment "Day of the Week" Compilation

I've been sifting through the endless pages of the "Sky is Falling: Augmented Weskit" thread and I can't seem to find any information on what "day of the week" people have been getting their Augments.

I have attempted over 15 Weskit's in FoV on Ice Day and I can confidently say that the best INT+ you're going to get on Ice Day there is INT+2, or so it would seem.

Does anyone have information on whether or not the day of the week determines the Augment possibilities? Since the NM's random abilities are determined roughly by the day of the week, the NM on Ice Day is never immune to magic, it could be theorized that the day also has an effect on the Augment.

Does anyone have a link to a forum stating the day of the week someone got an Augmented Weskit INT+5 or higher?

I appreciate the help and if this is not advanced I apologize.

People haven't been posting what day of the week/moon phase/etc they've done their augments on for a while, and it probably isn't a factor in determining what stats you get.

Some people will doubtlessly tell you Iceday = INT/MAB/etc, Firesday = STR/Atk/RAtk/etc, etc, but it's very likely they're full of crap. If a melee believes Firesday matters and only does augments on Firesday, then even if the system is random they'll eventually get a good augment on Firesday and confirm their suspicion. There isn't a dataset I know of including day/weather/zone/moon phase/etc large enough to say anything about their effects (or lack thereof) on the augmentation system.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, but because no one knows you might as well assume it's random and just keep notes of the conditions under which you augment. You will personally never collect a large enough sample size to determine what the augmentation system runs by due to time constraints, but perhaps if you got together with some friends you could get a large enough sample size to definitively see no effect.

System is random and if you dont like random you can pick from:

-Fay Augments
-ANNM
-Evoliths

For a chance for something still random, but not as fucking random.

I agree it is all random. For what it is worth, I got an INT +5 weskit on Firesday after 27 attempts.

Both monster been killed in a very short period of time (5min maybe or less)

Warning Crescent (26%)
Both Taru Woman, but not on same job

And both augment was 33MP(that it no -hp)
Anyone can explain this?

If you do something a lot, you're bound to notice an awkward result eventually.

Now if you could reproduce these results...that would mean something.

If you want a reason then i must say god hates you and decides to F you twice the same style. FoV Augment is totally random

Anyway, they're right. One data point isn't a trend. I completely 5 salvage pieces in a Zhayolm run despite having done salvage there for over a year with the same lotting priority. Work out the odds on that one.

If you get MP+ on a Weskit, it's going to be one of 4-5 values (31-35MP). You got the same value twice. That in itself doesn't prove anything.

I had the suspiscion better augments are given out during JP hours, and lolNynja's results are supporting (although by no means enough to be confirming) this. For example, I did two augments yesterday morning (approx. midnight JP time) on my two characters and got two +stat results. +1 VIT on a Spike Necklace, and +1 STR on a Dark Staff.

(But seriously, 99% chance its just a random system and we're thinking too much)

If this helps you out. I got INT+5 on my second weskit. It was Full Moon Thunders Day. I was nuking with my back against the mob. I was cheering Adamantoise on. Also I had a PLD and a DRK with me (we were all 3 augmenting). I also MPK'd someone too with a raptor.
