Man David wright regardless if his power is back has just fallen completely apart the last week or so. He finally got frustrated enough to get himself tossed from the game and even if the mets came back to tie that game, there was no one left to play 3rd. Ah well.

Yeah, that pitch was probably a ball, but it had been called a strike all game. You can't ever take that pitch in that situation.

He's been flinching since last year at anything inside. It's costing him his bat speed and he refuses to cover more of the plate. If he doesn't flinch that call goes his way. Francouer got that call earlier because he stayed in there. So did Bay. Until he gets comfortable with those inside pitches hes gonna have this problem. I mean you can just see how uncomfortable he looks when they throw inside. It wasn't evident early in the season because they were throwing stuff away at him, but it's clear hes not over being hit.

Yeah, a shame too because Wright's a really good player. Never easy to get over getting nailed in the noggin though.

As far as McCann, yeah. It's his other eye now. He got the lasik on his left, but not his right as they figured it'd clear up on it's own. Clearly it hasn't, so he's back to glasses for night games and what not.
