They're cheap if you know when/where to look. Don't bother trying to get tickets for premium games - those are one against the Red Sox, Mets, etc - or try to get seats in the lower decks. IMHO the bleachers are the place to be if you can stand sitting on benches. I'm going to the game against the Indians on the 28th with 3 friends and we paid $24 apiece for tickets. Try sections 202 203 or 204, those are nice seats in home run territory right by Swish.

lol A-rod was 4 for 6 against guerrier with 3 of the hits being home runs, tell me why was guerrier called out of the bullpen with bases loaded against A-rod?

So tonight after Oliver Perez got blown the fuck up once again, during postgame Jerry Manuel says that you don't want to make any moves too quick because you want to give the guy every chance, you want to give him as much rope as possible to prove himself and build confidence.....

Hey Jerry, HE FUCKING HUNG HIMSELF HE DONT NEED NO MORE ROPE. Really? How can you even say that with a straight face. Man this guy has to go, he doesn't have the balls to make baseball prudent decisions.

Edit: LOL OLLIE IS ALMOST IN TEARS. His voice is cracking lmao, he's done. He has ZERO confidence. This interview is golden.

Edit2: Mark Burhle....Really? He's another starter killing my fantasy team.

Ollie needs to be shipped to the minors to work down there. If he refuses they need to eat the idiotic contract he was given and release him. With Jerry and Omar running things however it isn't likely to ever happen.

Well.. sorda like when the Braves were winning the division every year and no one liked them, it's that way with the Phillies now, so I guess anyone will take advantage of a situation where they look bad, Haha. Still though.. that cups as binoculars is just great.

Saw that earlier. Is there a picture of the telephone or whatever?

Jim Tracy's response to Charlie Manuel was funny, something along the lines of "We don't cry, we work very hard"

I love the retro jerseys the Phillies and Brewers sported tonight. Though the powder blue seemed darker than normal. Great to see Ryan Howard pop one, too.

Sounds like he's been hanging out with Yogi Berra after games.

Oh and rays cut burrel this morning. Wonder who will pick him up.

You realize that nickname isn't cause of his hitting prowess right?

    Man or Machine?

I feel bad for the guy. He took a hard time in Philly, had his grand send off, and never got it going in Tampa Bay.

Oliver Perez has FINALLY been bumped from the rotation and is now in the bullpen. He would have had to approve a move to the minors and he wasn't going to. So since they can't make a roster move Hisanori Takahashi will take his spot in the rotation. Perez is just gonna waste away in the pen but good for him. He'll make his money and never pitch again but as a subpar reliever. He doesn't want to go to the minors because he says it wont help him relearn to pitch because he has to learn to do it in the majors. What a dick.

I would do the same thing. What difference does it make to him how the Mets are doing. Do you think he's a fan?
