I said it before the Mets should just cut their losses and release him at this point. He's going to be nothing more than a waste of a roster spot so long as he's on the team from this point forward.

Doesn't matter because he's guaranteed the money. With the way things are going for the mets, hes gonna get DFA'd because the mets need aother starter and they cant really do too much tweaking with the pen. The issue with Ollie is that he's so full of himself, he can't understand that he just can't be competitive at this level with his current stuff. Instead of working on it, he's choosing to accept the fact that whatever level he's playing at now is ok, despite admitting to struggling. He's not going to last on the roster. It'd be great to see him make a comeback because we all know he can pitch when he's on. He just can't accept he has a problem. It's kinda what makes the situation so bad.
He knows the mets don't want to cut him and eat the salary, but they wont have much choice, something has got to give before what would have been ollie's start against the nats. If he thought they'd cut him he might be willing to accept the assignment.
The highlights from the Marlins/Mets game.... Wow. Walk the bases loaded on 12 pitches in the first inning? Walk another? Franceour throws the ball from right field to left? That had me laughing pretty hard. How big is Perez's contract?
Brad Lidge on the 15-Day DL. I wish him the best and hope he can get fully healthy and then come back. And if he still has problems then... uh, who knows what happens.
Yeah probably. His defense almost but makes up for it. He was really hot to start the season but started to press when the team started to lose and now he's a mess. It's almost expected I guess. Right now though he looks like he's just exhausted mentally.
On another note I need my Fantasy bats to heat up or I need a new consistent bat. I lead the league in pitching, I might be willing to part with Haren, or price for the right bat. Gotta look D: Also have Pelfrey and Holland.
Yeah, my bats have been cold in terms of the homers, and my pitching staff's heating up. Granted I didn't get the wins in my starts, but the K's/ERA helped out.
Oh my god. Here we go again with the mets. Last 3 starts no starter has made a quality outing. Perez left early after getting blown up, Maine gives up a bunch of runs early, and now Niese gives up a few runs early, starts to press, and tweaks the hammy that he destroyed last year. Yeaaa, we're fucked.
Niese gives up two earned and one unearned run before he was fucked. And Takahashi gives up 3 before finally striking out Nolasco lol
The line on Niese is now 2 earned and 3 unearned. Thanks Wright, two of them are his. Assuming Niese is seriously injured the mets are now gonna absolutely have to make a move to the minors and I really have no idea who they could send down. They don't have any option but to release Perez to free up that spot but they won't do it. The next two days are gonna be rough.
His name is Dan Uggla.
Third place in all time marlins HR after that dinger
Mitre pitched pretty well, giving up one in 5 innings.
1st place Cincinnati Reds just doesn't sound right.
Also it really fucking blows that the Phillies Sunday night game just happens to be on at the same time as the Flyers.
The Twins just can't win at Yankee Stadium. It's really weird. One of the better teams in baseball and when they come to YS they just look like they don't stand a chance. Maybe they'll come back against Joba or Mo but... really odd.
Fucking marlins bullpen does it again. Only reliable pitchers we have is Badenhop and Nunez.
Ughh
Mariano just gave up a GS...
Jesus christ, Tex drops a line drive, Mariano doesn't get an obvious strike call and walks in a run and gives up a slam... I guess that's what it takes for the Twins to win.
