I'm sure Griffey would have preferred different circumstances but despite all those injuries everyone knew what he could do. He'll be a first ballot guy for sure I'd imagine.

If he isn't a near-unanimous decision, the hall of fame committee should just go ahead and quit their jobs. You'd have a hard time finding someone with the statistics, class, and clean record that he has.

That was just wrong. The guy had the perfect game locked up only to be screwed by the ump. Even Miguel Cabrera couldn't bring himself to stop arguing with Joyce over it during the next batter.

CC had a no-no in '08, fumbled the ball and it was called a hit instead of an error. This is 20x worse than that.
