So they're just going to call him out and change the record books? What if it wasn't the last out? Would they tell the teams to go back out there? What if the call was on a fly ball that they ruled was caught, but wasn't? Do you give him a single? double? triple?

This is why it's not as open-and-shut like you seem to think it is. There are a LOT of close calls in baseball. Reviewing every single one would be ridiculous.

And I agree, reviewing them all would be absurd, that's why the NFL limits them. Extend the game an extra 2 minutes, save coaches from getting thrown out of game and wasting those minutes arguing with the ump.

I feel like the damage is already done; he didn't get to celebrate with his team and all that. Changing the box score would be nice but doesn't fix much.
