Wow. I just saw that the Mets are looking for back to back road wins tonight for the first time since July of last year. Their home/road split is by far the largest in baseball (like .750 and .300 respectively).

And this year it seems like home teams are faring much better than usual. Only 2 teams are more than 1 game over 500 on the road, with only tampa bay being dominant on the road. A whole slew of teams are dominating at home though. It's like MLB is turning into college basketball.

Thank you o's for giving us back to back road wins and now we are fucking rolling. Pelfrey starting tomorrow, sweep prz. Indians next although they've been hot should be good for us. 1.5 back of ATL to start the day.

Just got home from the Rays game, after which there was a Dierks Bentley concert. It was a good show. The best part of the night, though, was in the 3rd inning when a bunch of obnoxious (obviously drunk) Marlins fans got kicked out of the game. We were cheering louder for them leaving than for what was going on in the game at that point.

I'm not sure, but I think they got kicked out for harassing some young girls.

I had a blast tonight. Saw some good homers and really just a fun and close game. Ten Ks by the Rays in the game, as well, so that gives us the opportunity to take our ticket to Kane's furniture and redeem it for a coupon for a free Papa John's pizza.

Really a great night. I love going to live games.

Oh, and if you saw a girl behind left field with pigtails and wearing a navy blue Rays shirt, that was me.

Has nothing to do with that, I read this thread but I'm not watching all the games you guys are talking about so I have nothing to contribute to the discussion. If people are watching and talking about a game I'm watching I will participate but up until the end of the season I'm really only going to watch Rays games, which no one else actually seems to do around here, so I have little to talk about.

I'm tired of reading about the binocular bullshit. The four or five games after they were accused they swept the Brewers with an offensive onslaught and put up a 12 spot against the Pirates. Even when they were accused in the World Series the only guy on a hot streak was Utley and even he managed to take a HANGING FUCKING CURVEBALL RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE from Marte in Game 6 that would have made it a 1 run game.(still haven't let that go!)

And the Phillies have absolutely no reason to trade for Oswalt. His contract is huge and would most likely s ruin any chance of extending Werth. The pitching has been great up till this series and if any resemblense(sp?) of the Phillies offense existed they would still be in first with close to or more than 40 wins right now.

He got off to such a fast start it was inevitable. His BABIP was like .600 in April and early May, those numbers had nowhere to go but down.

Agreed on Glaus. Pretty sure 99/100 people will say they were wrong. Granted he still has to keep this up, but he's been great nonetheless.
