I'm not worried with the Phillies. I still think they'll finish first, and probably Atlanta or the Mets will finish behind them, then the Marlins, and then the Nats.

Anyone find a stream of the KC vs. Atl game?

Oh and i missed the Chipper talk. I think it was last year he said in and interview that he wouldn't hang around just to get paid the remaining deal on his contract, if he wasn't playing well.

I do think Chipper makes the team better just by being here but he does need to accept limited role, and definitely not in the 3rd spot in the lineup.

Well it finally happened. Michael Stanton's first major league big fly was a grand slam.

Just a heads up, but I guess mlb tv will be free this weekend on the PS3.

So if there's some games you cannot watch due to being in another area, you can catch them for free this weekend.

Chase Utley is a man on a mission tonight. Ryan Howard's got his power stroke back. About damn time.

Phillies need to get a few men on base at the bottom of the 8th...give Howard a chance for the cycle (or a 3rd HR :D )

Gavin Floyd was a stud again today, granted not as much of a stud as Strasburg but Gavin pitched deeper into the game, both pitchers got the ND (Sox won in 11)

What exactly does it prove? Just because one team scores 5 or more runs doesn't mean the other team didn't.

    What?

The point of the stat is when the Braves score 5 runs, they are 29-0, meaning the other team didn't obviously score 5 runs or more. o.o your post confuses me.

If the Braves win 6-5, the other team scored 5 or more runs. Doesn't mean what he said makes sense, but he's right??

The point of the stat was that Atlanta is 29-0 when scoring at least 5 runs. Not when they're the only team to score 5 runs. Just when scoring at least 5 runs. Dunno how whatever he said was relevant or anything. Guess it's trying to say that pitching is usually good when getting that much run support.
