They have a lot of shitty hitters on their team, they were hitting over .320 w/ RISP until recently. Longoria's the only one in that lineup that has an OPS over .800, Crawford wasn't playing.

Tampa's barely playing .500 ball since May, I hope they step it up or it's going to be another boring September where the Yankees/Sox lock up postseason spots by labor day

Don't know about baserunners, but most walks in a no-hitter is led by Jim Maloney, with 10, then AJ Burnett with 9, and Jackson is tied with Nolan Ryan, Dock Ellis, and I think one more pitcher for 8.

The guy had a no-hitter going. When it comes something like that unless the pitcher is begging to come out you generally let him keep going.

Arizona is going nowhere anyway, easier to make a decision like that when you know you're already out of it.

They had guys warming in the BP. The first guy to get on or give him trouble and he was done. Though they will most certainly give him an extra day of rest after throwing that many pitches. They had a really hard time making that call, guess it paid off though.
