Still, the kid is 20, who knows what kind of numbers he will put up. Projections only mean so much.

I know you're joking since you bring up Mays/Arron, but when a prospect's floor is a .350 wOBA, that's really really sick. Stanton probably has the highest floor of the three because of how legit his power already is. When you look at the list of teenagers who have shown this kind of in game power, I mean I've already said it, Branyan is the floor. His floor and ceiling > the other two. The issue is, right now he's closer to his floor, whereas Montero and Heyward are closer to their ceiling.

    History

    Obviously nothing is 100% guarantee

But history says you show 40 HR power as a teenager, you have 40 HR power in the majors.

We're talking of only a handful of players the past couple decades (A-Rod, Griffey, Andruw Jones, Branyan, ect) who have done this kind of stuff as a teenager.

Ok. I think we can agree to disagree, we are both going to think our prospect is going to be the best ever. I could argue that Heyward is a fucking monster, so he has more power potential than Stanton.

And all of the things you are saying about scouts projections I have seen, so I know they are legit, just accept my biased optimism.

I don't really listen to rap music or music in general but... I really wish I saw this during the postseason. Either way, I just got pumped even more for the regular season.

I was going to get The Show, but they don't have Chapman in it, nor is the Reds ranked anywhere near decent, so fuck it.

Reyes is out 2-8 weeks (what kind of shit is that?) so he'll miss all of April at worst. The Mets are rather fucked.

It's 2-8 weeks depending on the levels of his thyroid. They are to test every week and once the levels return to normal he'll resume baseball activity and they believe that it will take less than 8 weeks. The reason they're saying 2-8 weeks is because despite the off season training Reyes did to get back in shape, he'll be sitting on his ass for a few weeks and will need extra time to prepare himself but the time line all depends on how he progresses.

I can't really expect him to miss more than 2 weeks of the season, every indication is that the levels were elevated but only slightly. So hopefully it wont hurt too bad. Castillo did a decent job leading off with Pagan, so I think they'll be capable in Reyes' absence. The only real issue is the lack of power and triples, until Wright can prove himself and Beltran as well fans can only hope :/.

Mets aren't totally fucked. Not like the season is short anyway. Marathon, etc.

The Mets aren't fucked because Reyes will miss the start of the season, they are fucked because they have a shitty pitching staff and gaping holes in their defense and lineup.

Our defense is fine except for Castillo who really doesn't have much range. Murphy showed promise at first and he'll be ready by the time the season starts. The only question marks are bay in that big left field and castillo. Francouer has always been a good fielder. Perez is already disappointing early in spring so I really hope Nieve and Niese show up.

How does one watch shit on there? No directions as far as I could tell.
Download StreamTorrent. It didn't require it last year (it was all flash-based) but I guess its different now.

    Attention Philadelphia bandwagoners:

Olney is an idiot. The Cardinals aren't interested in giving away four wins for the privilege of paying Ryan Howard his market-value deal.

Bandwagoners? I doubt anybody is really taking that idea seriously, but never say never.

What idea? More "Trade Ryan Howard two years before his contract is up" garbage?

Just found the article, what the fuck?

What the fuck as in what the fuck are you even writing an article about that for.

And why the fuck? Pujols is constantly held in a higher regard than Ryan Howard cause he hits for a higher average. Besides, did Pujols carry his team through the play offs?

Not that I believe it to be true... but please god don't let this turn out to be like real like Rosenthal's Cliff Lee "hunch".
