Diaz always hits well against Philly.
It's like what Chipper used to be against the Mets.

Moyer hadn't had that one really bad inning he usually has in a while. Guess he was due.
Reds did their part, hopefully Atlanta can escape Philly and not job to the Mets.
About god damn time Moyer had a bad inning against the Braves. Smoltzy called out a stat tonight that he'd gone 20IP without giving up back to back hits.
Man tough one for the Mets to drop, Arroyo loves to pitch against the Mets. Big series with the Braves before going to the west coast. I feel good about it though, with Beltran coming back, we're going to finally have some offense if he gets hot.
Also Holy shit what happened in Milwaukee.
Who do you think they'll sit? I think they're nuts if they sit Pagan, he's been too good this year. Frenchy has about 10 at-bats where he goes 8/10 and then goes 0 for his next 50. I think the Mets are too in love with his defense. Don't get me wrong, his arm is great, but when he's cold (often) he costs the team more runs than his defense saves. Pagan would make the better right fielder at this point. If Bay/Pagan/Beltran don't hit, let Frenchy take some at-bats.
Jesus christ. The Giants scored 15 on em so far? Damn.
And when does Beltran come back, Shinzon? Also good luck on the Friday-Sunday series. Gonna be a big one.
So glad I took A-rod from Util to 3B and benched Youkilis and put Aubrey Huff as my Utility. I can feel a nice boost to the fantasy box score.
Also I saw David price through 111 pitches, 100 of which were fastballs. That's just absurd.
Jerry was on WFAN today talking about it actually, this is what he had to say: Beltran when he comes back isn't going to play everyday until he proves he can. He'll start two games, sit the third, play a game and sit if he doesn't feel good. With the way Bay and Frenchy slump he plans to rotate them, keeping everyone fresh. Now, if that works it's great. It'll work with Francouer who when he's hot, is red hot like you said and it's easy to tell. When he's bad he's really bad and it's also easy to tell. Frenchy unless he's hot is going to lose most of the playing time I think when it comes down to it because of the money. Bay if he continues to struggle like he is though, might also lose the playing time if it's the difference between winning and losing. Example, like tonight where he hits the ball hard and still cant get a hit.
And he struck out 10, really 10 against the sox wtf. Can't hit fastballs now boston? I'm not complaining he's on my fantasy team lol.
@ Aki the date that's pretty much set in stone is the 15th, the day that they start the series in SF.
Also, the guy who fell in texas was a firefighter. I think that makes that whole situation a lot worse when a firefighter can't judge how safely he can reach for a stupid ball.
Brewers season is fucking terrible lol. Just as they are gaining ground on .500, they pull a series like this. I have no idea how our pitching ended up so horrible.
Gratz to the Braves on 50 wins before the break.
Welcome to the 2010 season Tex, just in time for the all-star break and cool off.
Dellin Betances has a .53 ERA on the year. 6'8 22 year old who sits 95-97. Between him and Montero, it's bonner time if you're a Yankee fan.
All 5 Yankee starters pitching well? A-rod and Tex starting to crank out the homers? Look out, American League.
The A's are a real powerhouse in the AL.
Have you seen what Miranda has been doing in AAA? batting .565 with 3 doubles and 4 homers since coming off the DL. Seriously why the hell isn't he up here to replace Russo?
(also isn't Bentances only in high-A? I'm more excited about Sanchez being shifted to the bullpen, I wanna see what he can do)
Is there a special reason why Matt Garza got a save tonight?
