Probably a way to get him some work in since he wouldn't pitch again til after the All-Star break or someshit. Dunno.

I dunno why Joe Madden used him, but Price was slayin sox tonight.
Edit: Forgot he only went three and gave up 4 runs to the sox in his previous start, guess it was indeed to get him some work.
Came in with tying run in the on-deck circle, thats technically a save situation and further proof why the stat is so retarded.
Soriano has been pitching a lot lately, Garza had an early hook the other night. I lul'd when I saw it in my other league.
Pushed Twins into 3rd place tonight. We're coming for you next, kitties.
JJ's ERA is at 1.70 now after going 8 innings giving up no runs
Sox starters over last 5 games.....
30 2/3 IP, 18 H, 4 ER, 5 BB, 19 K, 0.91 ERA, 0.75 WHIP, 3.80 K/BB
Sox are 5-0 over that stretch.
CG shutout+4 gm sweep of the halos
22-5 in our last 27
Votto and Swish in.
Was really stupid, I have no idea what Madden was thinking. Has he never watched Garza play a game or something, because Garza almost always starts off slow and tends to get himself in bad situations/give up some runs early on. That is like the worst trait to have for a fucking closer lol, and he almost fucked it up with a pretty decent lead.
Just happy the Rays are winning again, especially at home. Was mind blowing how poorly they were doing at home considering they used to dominate at the Trop the last few years.
Fantasy baseball request: So since Martinez joined the DL bandwagon, I have been lacking in the Catcher category. Anyone see potential in new AAA arrivals or no names making their claim to fame?
Are you in the BG league?
There's also a reason why most relievers are starters who couldn't cut it. It's a lot easier to go all out on 3 batters than worry about facing guys second or third times through a lineup. I'm pretty sure you could put most major league starters in the bullpen and they'd be awesome. Doesn't quite explain why Maddon went with him over his other relievers, but hey.
I haven't followed Bengie since he got traded to Texas, but since he's now playing half his games in a hitters park and never has to see AT&T park again, he may be a decent stop gap if available. Kurt Suzuki as well if he's around in your league.
Nah, I am in yahoo league with some friends, didn't know a BG league was going down.
This is my team as we speak, currently 1 game out of 1st.
Done a lot of trading. Picked up Ortiz and Huff as a FA because the first month they both sucked ass so the kid tossed em, rather good pick ups. Picked Hamilton (1) and A-rod(3) as well as Utley(2), Halladay (4)in order during the draft. Felt something big from all 4, all but Utley have done me great deeds.

Wieters might be turning it around, he is showing some signs of life. Unless someone like Miguel Montero or John Buck are available I would see if Wieters can keep it up.
And did I read that wrong or did you pick Josh Hamilton with your first pick?
Interesting. His ADP is 80th in ESPN. He has been producing like a first round pick though.
To be honest, I did it as a farse, my friends and I were joking around about the Derby were Hamilton was a train and drew out 28 HR's. I said it takes amazing skill and I basically sucked his dick about it, and they said if I like him so much pick him first round etc, so I did. Feels real good being able to tell them to sit on it and rotate lol.
