You mad? Stay mad.
You mad? Stay mad.
So........ Atl with a 4 game lead at the AS break, i'll take it.
Braves have 74 games left on their schedule of which 41 are home games.
The only NL team over .500 on the road in SD.
My biggest worry is what Atl can do against left handed pitching in the post season, privided they actually make it.
Rangers swept by the Orioles in a four-game series. What a fantastic fucking way to limp into the All Star break.
So the game before the break all my pitchers in the fantasy league decided today would be as good as ever to just fucking M E L T D O W N. Ah well, at least the Mets avoided the sweep and are gonna have backups in SF.
Anyone here got ESPN insider access and want to post what the article that says Ted Lilly to the Yanks has legs, I can't for the life of my understand why the Yankees want to bury Hughes in the bullpen.
Fuck ESPN Insider.
I use this: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/
Good site for following specific teams and all the talks around them.
The headline is wrong, it actually says the Mets are interested.
Well that was from the "MLB Rumors" section, they just fucked up the headline.
Yeah the Mention of Lilly to the Mets I saw, Just saw that Headline on ESPN NY and it confused me. It'll probably clear up tomorrow and if it's got any weight will be on MLBTR. On that note, I don't watch any cubs baseball, I know Lilly doesn't throw hard, but what kind of pitcher is he?
flyball pitcher, low WHIP since he doesn't walk many guys. When he is off he gives up a lot of HRs, Citi Field would suit him I should think.
He pitched pretty well when he was a Yankee too, don't think he'd have any trouble coming back here
Since it's the All-Star Break, I'm gonna update my predictions from the beginning of the season.
First, the original standings:
NLE: Phils
NLC: Reds
NLW: Padres
NLWC: Braves
ALE: Yankees
ALC: White Sox
ALW: Rangers
ALWC: Rays
World Series: Reds over Rays in 6.
NL Cy Young: Josh Johnson should win it, Jimenez will win it.
NL MVP: Votto, Jimenez, or Halladay
Don't follow AL enough to name an MVP or CY winner.
Ugh fuck me for buying into the Seattle bandwagon. At least my other AL picks are still alive. Go Twins!
As for the NL... oi. I guess the Cardinals as the WC isn't a bad choice, I have no idea why I liked the Brewers so much. Phillies aren't out of it in the NL east so I suppose I can still go 5/8
also lol:
NL's bottom 3 of the lineup: Ethier/Hart/Molina
AL's bottom 3 of the lineup: Mauer/Cano/Crawford
Won't matter after about 3 innings but rofl
Ugh, i've always hated these up close camera angles on hitters in the derby. Can't really see how hard they really hit the ball that way.
Oh, my God. I can't believe they have Will Ferrell doing Harry Carey. First thing I saw when I changed the channel.
