I mean I get why you cant appreciate a song about being called beautiful but it's rather obvious they were going to do the introduction, opening song, opening pitch, and paying respect to people. Shit always happens, it ain't that serious.

I just wish that they wouldn't advertise (like look on TV Guide website, for example) that the game is at 8, when really it's closer to 9. If they put "All Star Pregame" in a separate block, sure, you might get some people who won't tune in for it, but plenty others who still will anyway. And it would be less annoying than me tuning in at 8 and seeing all this crap I don't care about at all.

Really I'm only interested in seeing Longo and Crawford's at bats, after that I will probably lose interest considering these games tend to be ridiculous in terms of scoring and aren't ever really close.

They're pretty much THE ONLY all-star game that stays true to the game. You have the best facing the best, not a no defense free for all.
