Oh my god, that was the worst umpiring all season I've seen in a mets game. The giants are going to be livid after that disaster.

lol Rios doesn't know the game isn't over, airmailes a throw into his own dugout and the Twins win. Go go Ozzieball!
Swept the Reds, practically swept by the Cubs if not for Marmol becoming a Phillie for the day. yea buddy
At least Ryan Howard woke up.
Man that game was such bullshit at the end. Last 3 innings the strike zone was a complete fucking joke. Wilson had Bay out twice in the tenth inning. Then again it should have not even gotten to that point. Your telling me no other umpire saw that call was off, yet a second base umpire can over rule a home umpire on a hbp?
I'm not sure what that throw was lol. The winning runner was held at third, yet he threw the ball 40-50 feet up the line and into the dugout. That was just awful. Winning 3 of 4 against the Sox coming off the break is certainly nice though, hopefully it continues.
It looks like Blackburn has worked himself out of the rotation. Brian Duensing pitched 4 innings last night and will continue to work extended innings until he's ready to start. Duensing did pretty well as a starter last year and has been solid out of the 'pen so far this year.
Like I said I'm pretty sure he thought the game was over and just chucked the ball in as he was running off the field. Whoops! Seems like the Central is shaping up to be a pretty good race, though I think the White Sox are playing a bit over their heads. If I had to bet I'd bet on the Twins... only because every year I try to count them out, the calendar turns to August and they put together like a 20-5 month.
Also I saw the end of that Met/Giant game, that had to be the worse umpiring I've seen in quite some time... and that's saying something.
I wouldn't bet against a fourth straight game #163 in the AL Central. Here's hoping the Twins can figure out how to pitch and put down the infidels though. :D
Braves with a 5 game lead over the Mets and the biggest lead of any division leader. When are we falling back to EarthPadres series maybe? We don't see Latos..
Anytime now, please
So Venters suspended for 4 games and Cox for 1 for throwing at Fielder.
Lets forget that Heyward and Glaus were both hit in the next game without any ejections.
Umps are way too touchy about this crap and giving warnings before the next team has a chance to bat is stupid. Instead of things being settled in 1 game, they're gonna drag out now for more.
Let's go Phillies.
Four games? Really now? Wow. And the twat issued a warning yesterday, another guy is hit, and nothing happens... Okay. Whatever works. Suspending anyone for hitting Prince Fielder is retarded anyway. Not only is he too fucking fat to get out of the way, but he's a douchebag to boot. Oh well!
I totally missed that game and what happened, I watched the yanks and rays game yesterday, but didnt have a chance to see the Braves game, you normally update me Aki, wat the fuck.
Meh, didn't know if you were around or not.
Anyway, one of their pitchers barely grazed Heyward, the ump warns them (I thought this was a bad call because it was clearly unintentional) so usually rules have you throw the pitcher/manager out if someone gets hit again. Literally two batters later, Glaus gets plunked a lot harder and nothing happens.
They initial reaction is always the worst for example, anyone see a replay of the ump barking at Krod yesterday? Pumped his fist like he ejected someone and later said he was talking yelling back at whoever said something to him. These umps just can't fucking control themselves and the players always pay the price. Hitting people is just one of those examples.
Stop sucking Kendrick
As soon as they mentioned that he has a terrible ERA in the 5th inning I knew he was going to get blown up.
Plus he shouldn't have given Pujols anything to hit with 1st base open.
Sweet jesus, I thought a 3 run first for the Phillies was gonna be enough.
NOPE
lol Escobar with HR #2
