Good marketing ploy.
"STRASBURG IS PITCHING TONIGHT." *Everyone buys tickets and sells out.*
"Oh.. my bad. He didn't feel right, but he's pitching tomorrow night!"

I should also mention that I don't (officially) have internet, either. I'm just leeching here and there for quick e-mail/facebook/forum/job search checks and then getting off the computer. I don't want to stream or download on a leeched connection.
Can't fucking wait until Saturday.
They are afraid to match him up against Hamels on Sunday. Not that i'm complaining or anything obviously, but Strasburg is missing his start tonight against Atl.
Fuck yeah, buddy. They optioned McLouth back to AAA. For the fucking win. Thanks Frank Wren.
I was wondering why the ATL WAS game wasn't blue anymore on ESPN.
Although I don't know why it's still fucking blue at this point in Strasburg's career.
What does it being 'blue' even mean?
Also, fuck the Braves for getting wrecked by Miguel Batista.
Wtb 2008 McLouth.
defense ftl tonight
It used to be for "special" shit, but they've been doing it for alot of shit.
Like Haren's debut last night
Volquez looking rough :-\
Think Hanson finally realized that everyone is sitting on the off speed shit with 2 strikes, and is finally using his fastball as an out pitch.
Not that it matters. He can't ever start off a start fast.. and the Braves offense is once again reminding me why they won't win the division. Oh, and Shitty!Glaus has been back for a month.
This just in, if you want to beat the New York Yankees, scrap your starting staff and find guys in the AAA system that they've never seen before. Guaranteed win.
I wish A-Rod would hit a god damn home run so I don't have to hear about it any more.
lol, I do find it amusing though.
- A-rod did steroids, no one cares about his 600th home run. It's all tainted, lost all it's luster!
-Damn straight Bob. Now let's go to a live look-in to Yankees/Indians as Alex is up at bat...
Gallardo gives up 5 runs in the first two innings, bullpen warming up, nearly pulled him in 1.2IP - but they leave him in and let him bat.
And he hits his 4th home run of the season, a 2-run shot to bring the game to 5-3. He's never lost a game where he's homered...although getting him to 5 IP is going to be tough unless he totally turns it around, he's been terrible so far.
Both pitchers have been terrible.
My god, an hour for two innings.
Bullpen blows another potential win for Hamels, gogo. His ERA is well under 2.00 his last 9 starts and only has 1 win to show for it. Just for reference Joe Blanton's ERA in that same span is hovering around 6.00 and he has 3 wins.
