At least we're not Habs fans.

Might've been Lockecole7 or whatever but I guess someone from cincinnati (or the entire state of Ohio) wouldn't understand what winning is like
I thought we were talking about real sports, not ones where teams arbitrarily get picked to go to a "Championship" game
I just wanted an excuse to post that, and also to remind a mod to start the damn college football thread already. I have months of pent-up Lane Kiffin lulz to unleash.
lolCollege sports.
I don't understand how people can be so high on a sport where its literally impossible for 90% of the teams to even get the opportunity to play for a title. I could understand it if the quality was better than the pro game (like basketball), but the NFL is light years ahead of the college game.
20 years ago yeah?
guess what, Philly has 7 championships from our baseball teams so we're tied!
Why not start it yourself?
I agree for the most part, I didn't really care when I was in High School. You really get wrapped up in it when you go to a school with an elite program. It's cool to read up on all the recruits and then see them around campus and play pickup basketball games with them at the rec. The quality of play difference is jarring, but it also makes the guys with NFL potential really stick out.Originally Posted by Soa
Technically right, the best kind of right. It's not even worth it to acknowledge anybody who tries to shit on Philadelphia fans.
I always figured my big aversion to college football was that I didn't go to a school that had that mentality, but then more I learned about college football, the more I didn't understand the hype.
Reports are coming out that the Rangers have acquired Christian Guzman "for prospects". No confirmations yet, but um...wat?
I wish I lived in a world where I could get anything I wanted despite having no money!
Going for it I guess!
There is no doubt about that, but I guess it'll on depend on what we gave up (if confirmed).
