Holy shit man, what is it with the Dbacks and making citifield look small. Fucking gonna lose to these fucks again.
Yeah, Medlen especially could use some work on his mental game. Hanson is just so stoic it might do him some good to show a little emotion every now and then.
It pisses me off when I look at my team and think, "Hmm, we could really use a bat, but there aren't really any options except for maybe a Josh Willingham." Then you see these dumbass teams just throw useful guys away, and it makes you wonder why your GM isn't trying to get in on all of these players. I'm not trying to say Lance Berkman or Miguel Tejada or whoever is the answer, I just can't think of a time we really robbed somebody in a trade.
Yeah, no doubt. I mean.. if the Astros could have paid for the majority of Berkman's contract in a trade with the Braves, that would've been nice..
Of all the fucking teams that could use a free Berkman, I don't think the Yankees are high on the list. We are the Braves, we have THREE major league quality hitters in our lineup(Infante is arguable). I think we could find a place for Berkman.
fuck this game btw, fucking bandbox stadium
Supposedly we are sending AAA RHP Mark Melancon in the package, he's been solid in AAA for a few years now. The few times he pitched in the majors he had major control issues, and the last month he's been terrible. Yanks may have given up on him, but his ceiling as a reliever isn't too high anyway. Doesn't really change much.
Maybe our problem is we have too many good prospects and we don't want to part with any of them? Maybe if we call them all up we can trade our then "#1 prospect" for someone good.
Well Brooks got 'em last time.. and this time the Reds came out on top with that :/ Sigh. Awesome catch.
Goddamnit, Conrad robbed.
I can't watch the game, all I see is the red dot as the out on the fucking wall
WAT HAPPEN
bossin'
also, I think Votto has had like 3-4 straight 3-4 hit games.
I feel really comfortable with Jesse Chavez pitching in a tie game in the bottom of the 9th.
I knew Cordero being at 30+ pitches as bad.
My heart just skipped a beat.
If Prado gets hurt, that's our entire offense.
