Rays brought up young stud pitcher Jeremy Hellickson. Pretty solid debut, 7 IP, 2 ER, 3 Hits, 6 SO and got the W. Imagine they will use him similar to how they started with Price two years ago, start a games here and there and get some work in the bullpen. Love how awesome the Rays farm system is. So many starters and key contributors atm are home grown, great stuff.

I don't care if he turns into a perennial all star, he had a shit attitude and forgot how to hit with us. As far as the trade we just made... ugh. I liked Gregor Blanco and Tim Collins was an intriguing prospect. Who knows, Ankiel might play well down the stretch. Farnsworth is and always has been lol.

Still inconsistent as fuck considerign most of those runs all came within the first two innings.

And the Escobar/Gonzalez trade was terrible now that the Bravos traded Tim Collins. It was an okay trade for them before because some people saw Collins as Billy Wagner-esque with his size and power behind his pitches, but not now, because he's a Royal. Also, Escobar's ceiling is way fucking higher than Gonzalez, Lol. Braves just bit the bullet because they realized he'd never play hard for them.

What's sad is the Royals have fucked up their drafts so badly, they don't have any 5-star prospects according to BP. At least Pittsburgh has Alvarez.

Not broken unless the Indians lied on the DL report. 15 day DL with a sprained knee. I watched the video a few times and never saw his knee bend severely. First time I saw it I was thinking torn ACL/MCL but never broken.

He rolled his ankle and the knee it looked like. It's very possible that aside from the sprain there are torn ligaments which wouldn't be a shock. Ligaments can be really painful though, and until they do a thorough followup they wouldn't know.

On that note, RA dickey is going tonight for the Mets and it's always fun to watch him pitch.

Moustakas would now be considered a 5 star spec, he's having a monster year. Hosmer might also, he's like the one case where Lasik Eye Surgery seems to have actually made a difference. Royals have a pretty good system. It's unfortunate Moore is so incompetent at flipping his pieces at the ML level, cuz they could be even better there. It's also unfortunate how they're treating Alex Gordon, and Kila Ka'aihue is still lingering in AAA, and this, and that....

Yeah no joke. 400 PAs for Podsednik and Guillen, playing Callaspo at 3rd all year before he was shipped out, leaving Guillen at DH instead of moving him to RF and bringing up Ka'aihue, the list goes on and on. Too bad Greinke's had a meh year, he was pretty much the only reason to care until they get their shit together.
