Haven't looked at any stats but do you mean throughout the season or just last night's game? Wags came in and shut everyone down for Boston last year for the couple months he was here, though I guess that's not much of a sample size. Would probably be different if we'd had him for a whole season and not just claimed him on waivers.

"The Mets have released Alex Cora and demoted Jesus Feliciano to the minors, tweets Adam Rubin of ESPN New York. Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports first reported (via Twitter) that Cora would be "bumped" from the major league roster in order to make room for Ruben Tejada. Feliciano's demotion clears a spot on the roster for Fernando Martinez.

As David Lennon of Newsday points out (via Twitter), by releasing Cora, the Mets avoid seeing the 34-year-old's 2011 option vest. Cora needed to play in just 18 more games to trigger the $2MM option."

Edit: although 6 hits is hardly "great." Longoria continues his struggles, guy has not been good at all the last couple months. We have like one guy batting over 300 now, how awful for a team trying to win a championship.

No doubt, they are a great team that is unfortunately in by far the toughest division in baseball.

Gunna be the 4th loss in a row for the Rays though, they are so streaky. Guess that happens when you are overachieving like they are though. 3rd in the majors in RBI and 23rd in batting avg lol.
