I hate to say it since Chipper's been raking the past few weeks, but Conrad may be an upgrade right now.

Although i wonder if they'll call up Freeman but i can't see Glaus playing 3rd with his knees.

Uh... pretty sure Conrad will still be on the bench, with Infante moving to third when Prado gets back. That's just my guess.

Was talking with Kyo about how it'd be nice to see if we could get Ty Wigginton from the Orioles and he could fill that gap at 3rd base while batting third, and move Infante back to the bench, but I dunno.

I initially thought the same thing, but I think Bobby likes him coming off the bench to spell random people. Conrad's power is also much needed in our lineup.

So after all that nonsense Santana comes out and throws a complete game 4 hit shutout much needed. Also Krod was held in holding cell at the stadium, didn't know they had those lol. He was just sent off in an unmarked police car to presumably be arraigned but the Mets already placed him on the Restricted List. Heard that a player can be held on the Restricted List for up to two years, so essentially Krod's future with the club and his financial situation all rests with what the club decides since players on the RL don't get paid.

Ah well at least it was a solid win.

We lost Hayward, Prado, and Jurrjens for a while on the DL. We've also had zero production from CF and SS all year.

Genius lol. Also since Krod hasn't been arraigned yet, and there's a noon game the mets will essentially be two pitchers in the bullpen short because krod wont be there and ollie is the other guy. Oh man this is too much.

Thankfully there was Johan today. Bullpen can't blow it if they don't touch the ball. Yeah and can't believe the whole thing with K-Rod now. Granted I know plenty of guys that would love to beat the crap out of their father-in-law but to actually do it? At the baseball game you're playing in? He's going to wind up at court ordered anger management at the least when taking this into consideration along with his fight with Bernazard last year, the altercation with Brian Bruney, and with Randy Niemann earlier this season.

The Sox loaded up the bases with no outs in the 5th against Liriano and got nothing. Rios hit into a force at home, Konerko and Quenten struck out swinging.

They loaded them again with one out in the 6th and once again didn't score.

Then Ozzie leaves Floyd in after 125 pitches to face Kubel who hits a 3 run HR on a 0-2 count.

I'd be annoyed after that game if I was on the other side.

So I left down 9-2 cause there was half a keg in the truck and it wasn't gonna go to waste, so 15 of us hung out in the parking lot and got to hear cheers about 5-10 seconds before the radio calls.

It's extremely frustrating hearing that and not know what's happened until they broadcast it.
