So...another loss for the Yankees against a pitcher they have seen for the first time. Then we have the usual rally killer in the 9th. These were the kind of games they won last year...

Better pack it up, season's over then.
That's right, you're not in sole possession of first place.
6 games up on playoff spot, that's all that matters
one day the Cincinatti Vottos will have more than one player who could start on the Yankees
Rays continue to be intriguing and dangerous, despite the fact they are an anomaly in their ability to be great one night and no hit the other...frequently. Polarizing team indeed. The yanks have been meh as of late, but even in this state they could take the Sox, thus the playoffs aren't a concern for me at least.
A big Twins vs. White Sox series starts today. We're up by three games now, hopefully we'll at least take at least two in this series.
Good pitching matchups.. Danks vs. Baker, Floyd vs. Liriano, Buehrle vs. Pavano.
At least we're not throwing fucking Glen Perkins for a game like in the last series.
Pedroia is supposed to be making his return to the Sox tonight. I hope he can pitch the 7th inning.
http://www.mercurynews.com/giants/ci...nclick_check=1"After two weeks at Miami, I wanted to go home," [Aubrey] Huff said. "So my mom flies out, trying to convince me to stay. I was living with two seniors, and they ragged me, too. I just didn't understand all this baseball ragging nonsense. She's in my room one night and I'm sitting on my bed and she's telling me to give it another two weeks. Anyway, there's a knock on the door, and before I can even get off the bed, Pat [Burrell] comes barging in with a six-pack in his hand, dripping wet, buck naked. So I jumped up and shut the door. Coming from Texas, these things didn't happen. I said, 'See what I'm dealing with here, Mom?' She just started laughing and said, 'Actually, Aubrey, that's pretty darn funny.' I thought, 'My God, if my mom can laugh at this, why can't I?'"
LOL what. Why was Pat the Bat showing his well.. too easy. Still hilarious though.
I'm really happy that he seems to have found a fit in San Francisco.
So Atl's set to reactivate Prado tonight while moving him to 3B and batting him 3rd.
Infante > Heyward > Prado, sounds hot. He has more power than i think people realize but i hope he doesn't change his approach. It's kinda funny that the Braves record the second half isn't very good, while their HR totals have skyrocketed.
Stick with small ball, it's what we're built around.
Aw, no Conrad butchering 3rd?We'll need him for our late inning homers.
Also, Bobby ThomsonRIP. THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT from that homer he hit will always ring in my ears.
Dear Chase,
I feel like I can call you Chase because you and me are so much alike. I would love to meet you someday, it would be great to have a catch. I know I can't throw as fast as you, but I think you would be impressed with my speed. I love your hair. You run fast. Did you have a good relationship with your father? Me neither. These are all things we can talk about, and more. I know you have not been getting my letters because I know you would write back if you did. And I hope you write back this time and we get to be good friends. I am sure our relationship would be a real home run.

HE'S BACK, BITCHES
What else is new, Prado with 3 hits in his 1st game back from DL.
I'm liking all of the XBH's tonight. I also have yet to mention Tommy Hanson's line the other night. (7 IP 1 ER)
And yeah, great to see Prado pick right back up.
