Its in St. Pete, not Tampa. That would be a major reason why the attendance is so bad, in addition to the terrible stadium they use. Everyone and their mother knows the stadium should be moved to Tampa, including ppl from St Pete. Whole "Tampa Bay" thing was a retarded move in general.
For real. I would be going to so many fucking games a year if I didn't have to drive all the fucking way over there just to go. People of St. Pete (well, some of them) bitch because we have the Bucs on this side ... fuck it, I don't want the fucking Bucs, St. Pete can have 'em.
The stadium itself isn't that bad. It's not great, but it's not bad. I know that I rather like the fact that it's a dome and air conditioned and thus it's not OMFGHOLYFUCKINGHOT all the time.
I know a lot of people who feel the same way, though, if the Rays were on this side of the bay we'd be going to games a hell of a lot more. I've been to one game this year. I may make one more, but shit, that drive is a huge turnoff.
Ironically enough they have the highest TV viewership in the MLB. Yeah they definitely need a new stadium in Tampa, not St. Pete.Tampa's attendance is a fucking a disgrace.
The St. Pete tampa dome (whatever) is soooo fucking far from anything
But the actual area isn't bad. The bay is right there and theres a lot of concerts that pass through. But its far from anything Tampa related.
On an up note: The new marlin park is where the old Orange Bowl was. And yes, it will pull in A LOT of money.
Son of a bitch. (freakin Phillies game)
angry black man! need another replay of the check swing...
Starting pitcher making outs in the outfield.
This game is as entertaining as it is frustrating.
And Ross Gload got ejected too? Nice to see some passion at least.
At least Phils have Halladay going tomorrow so hopefully he'll eat up a ton of innings as usual and save the bullpen. Oswalt in the outfield is hilarious btw...plus he even made an out.
lul I thought that was out
Hella entertaining, but man this is ridiculous.
Too bad Chooch is already out, I remember I went to Shane Victorino Bobblehead night and he ended up hitting a walk off HR in extras.
David Herndon gets an at bat? What a game.
Man, I didn't think Baker was ever going to pull Leake. Have an 80 degree night in SF and the long ball comes out.
Rough way to lose the tie. Herndon did everything he could. C'mon rally.
