Okay this is the third time since Niemann has come off the DL that he's given up a shit ton of runs. (Yes, late posting, I was watching it in a bar dammit and I just got home.) Fucking shit man, he really needs to catch his rhythm again. It's starting to become a very bad pattern for him.

Hes completely fucking lost it, and Sonnanstine is not a guy that can give a bunch of innings. Niemann was so fucking consistent before, this definitely is a serious loss if he can't get his shit together. Price > Garza > Hellickson > Davis for playoffs if his shit still stinks in a month.

Yeah I was reading in the paper this morning that Maddon thinks Niemann is fine, he's pitching with good velocity but just not throwing them where he wants them. Well, that's part of what being a good pitcher is. If he can't get the aim right, then he's not "fine." He may be fully healed but that doesn't mean jackshit if his pitches keep missing the fucking mark. Oh, wait, my bad, they're hitting the mark - if the mark is "the best place to throw a pitch so the other team hits homers. Lots of them."
