Double steal Jeter, Gardner with Gardner taking home was perfect Victor threw to second like a fool with probably the fastest guy in the majors at third.

With speed like Gardner on the bases, you can't afford to make a simple mistake like not checking the runner at third.

Beckett struggled and now CC is. Practically shitting all over himself this inning. I kicked myself for starting Beckett.. but at least the guy starting CC is getting bombed now too. I usually skip the first few starts of a SP at the start of the year.

Neither of them is any good early in the year. Last year Beckett got bombed his first few starts and then was his normal self after that. CC was/is the same way.

Yep, normally most starters are that way. Sure they tear through spring training, but lol. That's spring training.

I know C.C.'s a big guy in general, but he looked BIG tonight. Like, fat big. I thought it might be the pants but his torso looked like he'd put on like 30 pounds of fat. Anyone else notice or not really?

Really surprised just how bad it did.

Also, was kinda brought up before, but streaming sites. Anyone know any place else besides myp2p? No cable and Marlins games not normally up on their forums unless facing a popular team. I know someone (I think it was fren) posted a few places last season that are dead now, but if anyone knows of any place else (Both now or if they find it in the future) please keep the thread up to date <3

Not really, he was always a fat guy! lol

I followed spring training religiously, I'm sure one of the beat writers would have mentioned it if he came to camp out of shape. I know they said Jesus Montero came in 20 pounds overweight and they had him work it off. But yeah, CC looks about the same to me

BoSox getting a ton of offense and RBIs from the bottom of their order...really nice to see. Ellsbury needs to be more aggressive at the plate though, second time he's been K'd looking with men on base.

MLB rulebook section 9, paragraph 4, section C:

All games wherein the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox play a regulation game, said contest must last at least 4 hours.

Seriously, every single time. Even the well pitched games manage to last 5 hours.

Remember that one game last year late in to the season, I think Beckett started, it was really low scoring, tied game, went into the 14th inning, and ARod hit the walk-off homer off Junichi Tazawa? That game was insane, both bullpens were just shot.
