The Bruce walk was a full count walk. That was astonishing though. Halladay is a monster.

Fuck fuck fuck I'm so pissed I had to work today. I was racing home trying to get there before the end of the game, but it ended when I was 2 blocks away. That's it I'm calling out sick every Phillies game for the rest of the year.
Omg I fuuuuuck. I missed roys perfecto due to the stanley cup
Finals but Omg
Omg omg
lol, foopy. FEEL HONORED.
Anyway, I agree. One of the best pitching performances I've ever seen.
Reds have been dominated by aces and good pitching all year. Then they play the Cubs/Stros/Pirates and put up 14 runs a game. Inflated offensive stats.
SEPH SHUT THE FUCK UP.
omggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
glhf
wow, this man is unbelievable
Halladay for president. Had to be in class during the game, was following the play-by-play on my phone, and it wasn't the same![]()
Orlando Cabrera doing himself, and his team, no favors:
“(Halladay) and the umpire pitched a no-hitter. He gave him every pitch. Basically, we had no chance."
Crashburn Alley has a full write up about it with a FanGraphs recap of the strike zone.
Like I said, stop ignoring this Yankee offense. Oh yeah, and that Mariano guy is pretty good.
Doc deserves the talk tomorrow though. Amazing.

Here's another graph of the game Hirschbeck called. I count a whole 5 pitches called incorrectly, and they were all within 2 inches of their respective zones.. This was honestly one of the best called games I've ever seen.
I watched most of the Yankees game and I'm a bit puzzled as to why the Twins infield was playing so far in with 1st and 3rd 1 out in the 6th. If the 1B was playing at normal depth Cano's single would have been a fairly routine double play that would have ended the inning with it still 3-0. The Twins have to be kicking themselves for letting this one get away.
Gdi, forgot I have a test today from 2pm-3:15. Gunna miss first few innings of Rays game...have class from 330-4:45 but fuck that noise, I'll just stream it during class.
And yea, no one from the Reds should be saying anything after that pathetic performance. They said Halladay was up 1-0 on like 24/28 batters and up 2-0 on like 14/28, shit was terrible. What really got me raging was the guys in the 8th in 9th batting against him, it seemed like they were literally scared.
No they didn't.

There's a total of one called strike outside of the strike zone. The rest are solid.

I admit, I laughed pretty hard at this pic.
I know what the graph says. But as you watched the game and where he was placing the pitches, many pitchers don't get those calls even if they are strikes. What I meant was even the borderline chest and knee called strikes, which were good calls, don't always get called strikes unless you've been rolling along like Halladay was.
