The way Reds fans over at Red Reporter described the strike zone for Halladay, Volquez should have thrown 54 strikes for the 54 pitches he threw.

I know what the graph says. But as you watched the game and where he was placing the pitches, many pitchers don't get those calls even if they are strikes. What I meant was even the borderline chest and knee called strikes, which were good calls, don't always get called strikes unless you've been rolling along like Halladay was.

I know it's a long shot and we're all very cynical, but it's a possibility that the umpire actually did his job correctly, knew what he was doing, and didn't screw up. I'm just as surprised as you.

Well it was really a pleasure to see that game called as oppose to the Yanks/Twins game, where it took like 2 hours to play 3 innings lol.

Well the Giants finally released their 25man roster and some surprises on there as well as non surprises (zito left off). Probably the biggest is no Jose Guillen, which means we will be running out an outfield of Burrell in Left, Torres in Center, and Ross in Right with Schierholtz and Rowand for PH/Defense Replacements. I'm also surprised Renteria made the list as I swear he's one swing away from having his arm go flying into the stands.

Oh no doubt. He shot himself in the foot immediately with giving us the lead via pickoff error. Honestly, bad calls last two days or no, you would think Maddon is going to face some serious heat for his personnel decisions thus far in the series.

Blows my mind that the two pitchers going in and losing the game are fucking James Shields with the start and then Randy fuckin Qualls to "save" the day. Where the hell are the people that actually got us here? Fuck Maddon and his outside the box bull shit. Its just fucking arrogance. Dont even get me started with no Jaso in AGAIN, my god. 2 hits is pathetic and we completely choke with RISP. Man on second and third and no outs and no one scores? The fuck kind of shit is that?

Again, I'm so glad I wasn't home to watch it. If this is how they're going to play, I don't want to see it. I had a friend texting me updates every time something changed and I'm walking around work getting messages updating the score and cussing up a storm because of it, and getting in trouble for the "Fuck!" every time. Lol.

Well there goes my hopes for a World Series team ... sure as shit won't happen next year when we lose our payroll and thus, a whole bunch of our great players. Fucking weak.
