Man, some ridiculous pitching performances to start off the post-season.

Wow. 2-hit complete game shutout with 14 strikeouts in Timmy's first ever post season game. Too bad it's still only the second best pitching performance of this post season.

So far this post season has had a blown call in almost every game played, improving over last year fo sho! Also all John and Suzyn kept talking about during the Yankees game was the Golson catch. I mean literally every other half inning it was the blown call and whenever Thome was either on deck or at bat it was the blown call and so forth. Hate being out and listening on my phone during post season games.

It's probably a bad sign that I am annoyed at all of the credit Lincecum is getting because our offense is just that bad.

Was it just me or the first inning did the announcers keep calling Jason Heyward Mason?

I was in a bar so I couldn't hear, but that would not surprise me.

I need to get a fucking radio in my apartment so I can mute the shitty TBS announcers and listen to Krukow and Kuiper on the radio.

Sorda easy to do when your 5-8 is Shitty Alex Gonzalez, Diaz, Conrad, and Ankiel, lol, but of course Lincecum's getting his dick sucked for shutting down a team this hardcore.

He's been shutting down teams for his last 6 starts including this one. Sorry Aki but you really are coming off as bitter on this. You don't see people bitching when Lowe gets complimented for shutting down the DP Giants.

So yea, looked up his last few starts, shut down the rockies twice, once in Colorado, Diamondbacks twice, including one in Arizona, Milwaukee (2-1 loss), and the Padres in San Diego. I mean shit, outside of his meltdown in August, he was at least mentioned but not seriously contending for a Cy Young, and he only lead the NL for the third year in a row in Strikeouts. So yea, your insinuated dick sucking is pretty well deserved.

People were praising Lowe for shutting them down? I didn't notice them sucking his dick as much as Lincecum's. They compared Timmy's start to Halladay's NO HITTER just because of 14 strikeouts and a ton of swing and misses against an offense that's AAA bad.

The offense is bad, but they are a contact offense. Only Houston, St.Louis, Phily, Mets, and Giants struck out less on average per team in the national league. Last I checked we were playing the braves, not the diamondbacks.

Ok Aki, seriously, i'm looking at your team and they are not a team that strikes out easily. Heyward lead the team with 128, followed by Glauss at 100, and then only two other people were close to 100. McCann at 98 and Prado at 86.

Right, but if you look even closer, you'll see that the majority of the team's strikeouts all came against pitchers labeled as 'stud' pitchers, as it should. It's not like they've fended off Halladay, Lincecum (when they saw him earlier this year when he struggled), Hamels, Oswalt, and so on. They strike out 8, 9, 10 times a game easy against those guys.

And yeah.. maybe they weren't bad all year, but this is a lineup without Prado and Chipper, with Brooks Conrad in place, and them actually STARTING Rick Ankiel. I mean really, :/ That's three automatic outs at the bottom of the lineup and may as well be a 4th with Gonzalez.

Trust me, I know Lincecum had a fantastic outing, but the Braves offense is ANEMIC.

I agree, the Braves offense is probably worse then the rays and giants, but even anemic offenses have a hard time having over 50% of there outs come from a strike out. I mean how often do you see a pitcher K 5 men in a row?

Lol, playing the Braves? I think that's happened a few times this year. Not sure, but I think it was Olsen for the Nationals that struck out like 11 or 12 and 5 or 6 in a row during the regular season? I'd have to dig and dig to look for that.. but against this team right now, it's not hard to do. You can think I'm a homer and what not, and think I'm trying to shit all over Timmy's parade, but I'm not. The Braves have the worst offense in the playoffs right now. They're only here for two reasons. A) They jumped out to a big division lead and somehow held on/didn't collapse before the Padres and B) pitching. Offense is not it, lol
