It was a cutter thrown to Jeter, Mauer set up inside and reached across his body, it was called a ball even through it was quite clearly in the middle of the plate to everyone except Hunter Wendlefail
Also Pettitte got absolutely screwed on the outside corner, theres like 6 pitches there that Pavano got that he didn't. The dude has serious eyesight issues or has trouble differentiating lefty/righty thrown pitches
Yeah Twins were definitely getting the better end of the deal on those calls. The Pavano "omg no way" moment didn't bother me much.
The Yankees are usually a favorite to win it all every season, it's just really disappointing that we almost always have to see them in the first round. Our overall game hasn't been astonishing either. Hitting is sub-par, pitching is sub-par, fielding isn't great (Danny Valencia had a few memorable fuck ups). SIGH
Well there goes Oswalts perfect game. Looks like he's not topping Halladay today.
BRUUUUUUUUUUUCE
Oswalt, what gives?
ITG: Ground balls are hard
are the Reds taking lessons from the Braves in ground balls?
So happy Utley made them pay for that. Be nice to see Howard keep it goin.
Clutch hit there, much to my annoyance. Cmon Reds, make this series interesting ffs.
I can't wait to see the pitch trax for this game, Arroyo got one of the biggest strike zones I've ever seen tonight.
Damn, that almost hit him in the fucking face lol. Need to get this last out, come on dude.
Utley pulling a Jeter.
I'll pay one of you Philly guys $1000 to find and punch this whistling Philly fan in the face
God Chapman's awesome.
The Reds: Nope.
Holy shit, contract the Reds.
Wow, the Reds are fucking terrible.
n/m about Chapman
The guy has two pitches and if you're cheating on the fastball you hit the 90mph slider haha
