I can't stand Rick Riley (I think it's spelled that way), but he has a point. This shit takes for fucking everrrr. I know it's because they see pitches and that's why they're good, but still. :/

Fucking hell Yankees.. blowin' leads all season.
lol
Why did Donovan Mcnabb have to get traded the night before Phillies Opening Day? They already sidelined close to an hours worth of coverage for him. Not to mention the past week or more of rambling of where he will end up. I actually asked my Dad the other day "So if Donovan Mcnabb gets traded and Roy Halladay throws a no hitter/perfect game on the same day, who get's more coverage?"
Phillies actually did that steal of second > home last year with Utley on third, was awesome.
Yankees/Red Sox game was boring when I was watching it. Announcers sucked. "CC is a victim of his own success of working deep into games", and how they were salivating over Posada's swing on the homerun that was barely fair. Atleast Granderson's home run was pretty big.
By the way, best wishes to Davey Lopes with his family, his brother got killed in a fire and left the team indefinitely.
This just in: Sweet Caroline is still the shittiest song ever to play in any stadium (that includes "Who Let the Dogs Out"), even if you bring the man himself to sing it.
it's not that bad as a sing-along song
IT'S FUCKING OVER, FINALLY
Thank god.
Also.. the new spot where they show the score now is rather eh.
OPENING DAY BABY
see y'all tomorrow
Fun game to watch, had to last 4 hours of course, dear yankee's, lern to lead.
Good thing the Sox just scored the most runs in a game that they will ever get this season.
I've been absent from this thread for a while. Spring training was fun for the handful of games I saw. The standout moment was that one Sunday afternoon game where Papelbon got rocked big time. He gave up like 5 runs and only got one out. Good to see he was able to buckle down tonight because that performance, combined with a couple other shaky ones I saw, woulda been trouble for Sox fans.
Good game tonight. I was wondering if Gammons would be back, luckily he's not lol. I never liked his calls anyways. Orel is a good rep. When Jon Miller gets too old they need to have Dan Shulman take over the tv side. Guys is amazing.
I listened to him years ago on the Fan in Toronto before he went to ESPN, he's underrated in my eyes.
Baseball is here woo hoo![]()
Pretty sure Bozo is a phills fan.
I know you guys here hate Buck Martinez because of his terrible job the last couple postseasons with TBS.
He's now the Jays PLAY BY PLAY guy. I listened to his first game against Houston on Friday and he sucks big time. He needs to stick to colour.
He used to be the Jays colour guy years ago with Jim Hughson on TSN (Hughson now is the play by play man for CBC Hockey Night in Canada) and he was okay back in the day but age hasn't been too kind to Buck.
Not a good time to be a baseball fan in Toronto. We have Rod Black on TSN who sucks and now Buck on Sportsnet.
I really can't stand Orel, he obviously knows what he is talking about but his voice or something just irks me. I think ESPN hired Boog(Jon Sciambi) and he is the man, he used to do Braves games.
He was okay. The new crew is.. ugh. Chip Carey may have a nice voice, but I'm going to keep thinking of his blunder last year "LINE DRIVE BASE HIT".. and Glavine's meh.
