You mean when he went 0-1 with a 3.29 ERA and almost lost to Joe Blanton? I'm not gonna post his whole career postseaon line but he has a 4.41 ERA and a WHIP at nearly 1.5, and most of his peripheral stats are half as good as they are in the regular season. While I think "shitty" is a bit too much in my opinion, saying he's been great is just plain wrong.

And holy shit the Rangers are starting to choke this game away. First Wilson forgets to cover 1B on the Gardner grounder, then Michael Young forgets infielding 101 and doesn't get his body in front of A-Rods hit.

You have to at least acknowledge how much he was abused down the stretch for the Brewers and how it may have factored into how he pitched in the postseason that year. They kind of inflate the numbers. Plus, last year he was dynamite, so how is he a bad postseason player? It's the same crap that we went through with A-rod.

Has he been great in his career? No. Was he great in 2009? Yes. The World Series wasn't the only level of the playoffs you know. He was the MVP of the ALCS for a reason.
