So i'm going to be gone for two weeks, so need to get my Giants homerism in. So far the first two games, both offenses have been awful. Take away the bullpen meltdown in the 7th, and Phillies hitters really have not done much this post season. Course the Giants have done less, but play far far better at home.

Game 3 Cain vs Hammels. Phillies beat up Cain, Hammels gets torn up at AT&T Park. Cain has been red hot though and I just don't see the Phillies doing much here. I'm actually going to take the Giants in game 3, winning 4-2.

Game 4 Bumgarner vs Blanton. Bumgarner has only been average at home, but won his last start at AT&T. The first two innings will be the key. Bumgarner had something like a 4.5 era in the first two innings, and sub 2 past the second. Blanton you just never know what your going to get. If there is going to be a high scoring game this series, this will be the one, and i'm not even going to make a prediction here. I want to say Giants, but this is probably the most winnable game left for the Phillies.

Game 5 Lincecum vs Halliday Round 2. I think Lincecum is going to have a bounce back game and go 8 and strike out 10. The Giants have proved again they can hit Halliday. Ross will break up his 4th no hitter with a home run and lead the giants to a 4-2 win and god willing a trip to the world series.

First off, the original report was inflated; it is more around $1 billion total over 10+ years. Second, that's OVER 10+ YEARS, meaning Fox Sports didn't cut Nolan and Greenburg a huge check immediately. Actually, yea I am saying it. Blanton is trash. Been watching him since he was in Oakland. We've beat up on hammels, and we've beaten Halladay twice now, easily make it 3 in a row on him.
