As Wash would say: "That's the way baseball go."

Jesus this has been awful. Still hoping for a Wilson collapse, but damn...going to need a big outing from CJ it seems.

I'm completely stunned SF has put up 11 runs so far.

This is really just a clever plan to get the Giants to waste all their runs for the series in one game. Promise.

It sucks for the Rangers because it only gets more difficult for them tomorrow when they'll have to face Matt Cain who has given up exactly 0 earned runs so far this post-season.

And this is gearing up to be Cliff Lee's first career post-season loss. Your point?

Cain has a better career ERA than Cliff Lee, CC Sabathia, and Chris Carpenter; just saying.

So if you thought the giants would put 4 on lee and score 11 tonight raise your hands.

Cain has also never pitched in the AL, let alone the AL East like Sabathia.

Well, looked like the Rangers had some serious jitters or something. Which is understandable, considering it's their first WS run. Definitely did not expect the score to be so high, from either team.

Trust me, I understand. I'm just trying to remind people that it's not going to get any easier for the Rangers tomorrow because they're still going to have to face the pitcher with the eighth-lowest career ERA of any active starting pitcher with more than 1,000 career innings. Needless to say: our rotation is as deep as it gets.

Wasn't me, but I find it pretty amazing that the Giants came out with such a big offensive explosion. I'll definitely give them credit, they hit when it matters. Juan Uribe had like two hits in the NLCS and they won two games.

I wouldn't gloss over CJ. His game 5 performance in the ALCS was awful, but he was a freakin' buzzsaw against the Rays and in game 1 of the ALCS.

I understand he's pretty good, but let's be real, he'd have to compete with Zito to be our number 5 starter. I'm not going to take your offense lightly though. They have the ability to put up crooked numbers on anyone in baseball so I'm still pretty worried about our chances.

lol...wut? First of all, it'd be zero competition. Gotta remember CJ's pitched in Arlington for at least half his starts, and then saw the Yankees and Red Sox a couple times each, yet you think he'd have to compete with Zito? Hell, I'd say he'd be at last the 3 or 4.
