18 HR, 53 RBI, .872 OPS. I'm extremely glad we picked him up, just wish he didn't decide to go cold on the biggest stage in the world. I hope we sign him again for next year, too.

He was pretty much worthless on my team, though, so you guys can keep him. Maybe it's the fact that being in the AL East meant much tougher opponents, but he couldn't hit a goddamn thing when he was a Ray.

Not that the rest of the Rays were any better this year, but for someone who was touted as a major power hitter, he sure didn't do a damn thing when we had him.

He just wasn't comfortable as a DH. He didn't feel like he was a part of the game and it kept him from finding his timing.

I have a feeling that he was never going to start, even if the Rangers had been behind 0-3.

Got to go to the game, but I think I should stop going to postseason games for the Rangers. I'm now 0-4 all time

This series has been a huge disappointment so far I'm sorry to say. There hasn't been a single truly close game yet, and there has been tons of sloppy play and bad bullpen management (by Texas anyway).

Hopefully Lincecum/Lee part 2 will live up to its potential and salvage this wreck at least a little bit, because this is honestly the worst World Series I can ever remember watching.

Phily/TB was worse, mainly because of the rain delays, the sweep (obviously), etc. But I can see how it wasn't worse for you as you're a Phillies fan.

Still.. I haven't had fun watching this series at all.

The Rays weren't swept in the WS. They won one, which is still sad, but they did not get swept.

Game 3 was good (and the first seven innings of game 2), but yeah other than that, the only people really enjoying this have been Giants fans. Hopefully we can start changing it soon.

Yeah, I have no idea what you're talking about. This has been the greatest World Series of my lifetime, without a doubt.

“I thought Yankee fans, frankly, were awful. They were either violent or apathetic, neither of which is good. So I thought Yankee fans were by far the worst of any I’ve seen in the postseason. I thought they were an embarrassment.” --Chuck Greenberg

I really miss old George sometimes.

I know. When I saw that Jason Heyward was younger than me I was like hey fuck you buddy.

I have known that a lot of these players are younger than me for several years now, but I really didn't feel old watching baseball until I saw Hellickson pitch. Holy crap, he looks like a baby.
