Well looks like Moyer's career is over. Sustained some sort of elbow injury according to Moises Alou. As much as I hate the phillies being a met fan, that's a shitty way to end his career.

The AFL Rising Stars game is on right now on MLB Network. It's a great place to see some of the exciting young talent of the future. I'm very excited to see Brandon Belt play; he's going to be a big part of the Giants future going forward.

Eh he wins because of his name, just like Ichiro wins every year, or when Torii Hunter would win in CF every year. It's just funny how people think the validity of the gold glove is invalidated NOW when Raphael Palmeiro was given a gold glove when he played 20 (TWENTY!!) games at first.

I'm a bit shocked Polanco didn't win it this year, he was the best fielding 3B in the NL this year by a pretty wide margin, and has an existing reputation for being a good fielder, so its not like he came out of nowhere. I guess since he changed positions no one really took him seriously for it or something.
